WHO I AM
Hello, I’m Gary Warrior, and I am proud to be a member of the Academy of Professional Celebrants. For me, being a celebrant is all about people. It’s about listening, understanding, and creating ceremonies that truly reflect the wishes, values, and stories of those I am privileged to serve.
My background is in the Restaurant Business, where people management and customer care were at the forefront of my personal focus, I spent nearly four decades ensuring that individuals and teams felt supported, respected, and valued. Those same values now guide me in my celebrant work, where I am committed to making every ceremony personal, meaningful, and delivered with care and compassion.
Community has always been important to me. I have had the honour of serving as Captain of Ingleby Barwick Golf Club on three separate occasions, during which I helped raise over £20,000 for local charities. That experience reinforced my belief in the power of people coming together to make a difference, and it is a spirit I carry with me into every ceremony I lead.
